Important Dates

Two calendars are below. One for current residents (24-25) and one for incoming students (for 25-26).

'24-'25 Academic Year

July 1	Last day to cancel housing and receive $200 back from $250 prepayment.
July 8 (9 a.m.)	Room Change Waitlist opens in the Housing & Dining Portal.
July 29 (9 a.m.)	Arrival planning form opens in the Housing & Dining Portal
August 6 (9 a.m.)	Residential parking privilieges go on sale (Parking website).
August 2	Room change waitlist closes at 12 p.m. (noon).
August 9	Summer to fall moves
August 10-21	Early Arrival Housing
August 15	Last day to select your meal plan in the Housing & Dining Portal.
Aug 19 - Sept 6	Meal plan changes accepted on website (Meal Plan Change Form).
Beginning August 19	Meals may be converted to Dining Dollars for students on the 160 Meals Per Semester plan.
August 22-25	Move-in and Welcome Week
August 26	Single room waitlist opens online.
	First day of class.
September 2	Labor Day Holiday - no classes. Office closed.
September 9-10	Room Change Days
September 30	Fall bills due
Sept 30-Oct 5	Homecoming Week
October 25-27	Family Weekend
November 1	Submit housing accommodation request by this deadline if moving in for spring semester.
November 11	Thanksgiving Break registration opens.
	Winter Break registration opens.
November 22	Last day to change rooms for fall semester.
	Deadline to register for Thanksgiving Break Housing.
November 26	Food service ends at 6 p.m. for Thanksgiving Break.
November 27	Residence communities close at 9 a.m. for Thanksgiving Break.
November 30	Fall deadline for 160 meal plan holders to convert meals to Dining Dollars.
December 1	Residence communities reopen at 12 p.m. (noon). University Dining Center opens at 4 p.m.
December 8	Final fuel up, 10-11:30 p.m. in the University Dining Center.
December 13	Residence communities close at 7 p.m. for Winter Break.
	Food service ends at 1:30 p.m.
December 19	Spring meal plan changes accepted online (the Maverick 250 Dining Dollars plan is not available to select).
December 27	Spring 24 Housing cancellation deadline (to get $200 back from $250 prepayment).
January 10	Residence Communities reopen at 8 a.m.
January 24	Last day to change your meal plan for Spring Semester.
January 27-28	Room Change Days
February 24	Spring Break Registration opens.
March 1	Submit housing accommodation request by this deadline if moving in for fall semester.
March 7	Residence Communities close at 7 p.m. for Spring Break. Food service ends at 6 p.m.
March 16	Residence Communities reopen at noon. Dining Center opens at 4 p.m.
March 17	Summer Housing registration opens.
April 18	Last day to change rooms for spring semester.
April 30	160 Meal Plan Holders - spring deadline to convert meals to Dining Dollars.
May 4	Final fuel up, 10-11:30 p.m. in University Dining Center.
May 9	Residence Communities close at 7 p.m. for end of term. Last day to use Dining Dollars.
May 10	Interim Housing begins.
May 17	Summer Housing begins.
July 1	Fall 25 Housing Cancellation deadline (to get $200 back from your $250 prepayment).

For 25-26 Residents

Oct 7	Housing application opens for 25-26 reservations.
Feb 14	Priority deadline. Students who apply by this date are guaranteed housing  & may choose their own roommate and room.
Feb 24-Mar 14	Roommate Matching for students who applied by the priority deadline.
March 1	Submit housing accommodation request by this deadline if moving in for fall semester.
Mar 31-Apr 11	Room Selection for students who applied by the priority deadline.
June-July	Students who applied for housing after the priority deadline will receive their room/roommate assignment.
July 1	Deadline to cancel housing for 25-26 and receive $200 back from $250 prepayment.
Aug 5	Residence hall parking privileges go on sale at 9 a.m. in the Parking Portal. 1st come, 1st served.
Aug 17	Deadline to select your meal plan in the Housing & Dining Portal.
Aug 21-24	Move-In
