2. Mentor a student
Invest in our students' success by mentoring a current student. Provide career counsel, share experiences and offer advice through regular email, phone or even in-person conversations.

Serve as a mid-career mentor; many alumni could use the counsel of a fellow Maverick who is a few steps ahead of them on their career journey.

4. Career services
Do you need help modernizing your resume, prepping for an interview or recalibrating your career interests and opportunities? The Career Development Center specializes in career questions, from age 18 through retirement. Can they answer yours?

5. Support a student
Become a donor by making a small (or large!) gift to support scholarships, programs or anything else you care about. Whether you make a one-time gift or an annual commitment, support what you care about to make a difference at Minnesota State Mankato.
6. Life-long learning
When you need to learn something new, think of your alma mater! You can take credit or non-credit courses in just about every area imaginable, work on advanced degrees—including doctoral degrees—or customize training for your company.

7. Serve on a board
With more than 50 volunteer boards operating at the University, there are numerous ways to serve your alma mater. From department- and college-level advisory boards to the Alumni Board and the Foundation Board, it's time to raise your hand!
